Tewksbury

Originally part of Billerica, Tewksbury was settled in 1637 and incorporated in 1734. Andrew Jackson stopped by for a drink at Brown's Tavern. It is about 19 miles from Boston, but has ready access to that city via Interstate 93 along the eastern edge of town. The town has a population approaching 30,000. Tewksbury is an outstanding community with an air perhaps between suburban and rural. Check it out! It's a wonderful, welcoming place to settle down.
